Alan Cummings writes an open letter to Dairy Queen asking them to offer non-dairy products.

    Is this real?

I don't really doubt the possibility of making the suggestion, but I'm just having a hard time believing that it can be done without even once giving a nod to the irony and moving on in spite of it.

Moving day. I have finished all my packing and am moving to the burbs of Nerima-ku. I'll have a patio. That is all.

No furniture or appliances or toilet or shower? Just the patio?

I hope you're at least getting a good deal.

Corrugated cardboard boxes, a great deal. At this point I just need a wall socket.

I actually buy all my meals outside of the home. Convenience store bento boxes, katsudon, ramen, etc.

The nutritional intake is more robust than my typical diet in the US. Particularly, I put more green stuff in my mouth, especially in the cases of soba and ramen.

I don't know why I bothered to post that. That's a fucking boring post.

Another boring detail is that I wanted to try on festive wear. On the day I went to buy a yukata, I couldn't bear the thought of wearing long sleeves, so I got a low priced jinbei instead. When I went out for the huge fireworks festival in Asakusa, I noticed that the jinbei is the go-to attire for boyfriends and husbands exhibiting minimal effort to accompany their ladies donning yukata. That's to say that I chose the correct articles of clothing. I'm one fucking lazy SO.
