What.CD was an enormous resource for the music community and it is with a broken heart we saw it close. Many people have gone into hiding the days after the closure, but we hope someone will take its place.

I hate to tug at that warm comforting blanket of delusion that some like to wrap themselves in but there is nothing "greedy", coporate or otherwise about merely expecting a law to be enforced.On the other hand, wanting everything made available to you, whether you are entitled to it or not is probably the very definition of greed.

As for this "community" bullshit that some trackers like to drag out, call me old fashion but I personally believe that a community means something other than a collective of individuals whose sole purpose for being there is self gain and ego boosting.

Lastly, to the idiot at XANAX who wrote that, I would quote Einstein to you but instead let me offer this. If you truly want this to change then you need to work within the system and not against it. Approach your local government and keep at it and don't be dissuaded by a "no". Otherwise Napster-Oink-What..... are you beginining to see a pattern here? History repeating or something.

PS A "tragedy" is like when a tractor trailer slams into a schoolbus and kills a bunch of children. This is at best an inconvience or maybe a setback, asshat.
