The administrators had backups but they kept them in their pants and they are now covered in shit.
    Respect my lack of authority.

They had ? what are they trying to backup ? the phpmyadmin backup ? is that enough to restore a website ?

ScT was not just good, it was the greatest private tracker there has been. Took on all comers and thrashed them.

I thought the same thing as soon as I read they'd completely wiped their database. My guess is that there are backups (off-site backups are essential), but staff don't feel like restarting the site on another host and don't trust anyone else with their data, which is the same as nothing. I would be pleased to be proven wrong, however.

In seven days, ScT will have been dead for seven years, so I give your troll 7/10.

Phhht it was all about wheel mods.

ScT had a private cable modem hacking forum that sadly nothing has rivaled since.

I hear SCC is still around but 10 years ago some of the staff turned me off and I haven't been back since.

This just in! A new tracker appeared called Time Machine, which literally has all the best parts of the past in one site! RIP torrent community..

I had completely forgotten that wheel mods, sct, ftn, etc ever even existed for me. What kind of person would think back and actually care that a scene tracker died? That shit just doesn't matter. Sure there were nice people on wheel mods still do not care

It matters to some more than others. I've had times in my life where my online activity was far greater than my real life activity. Not a good place but it is what it is (or was in this example). People take these things to heart, first world problems indeed.
