i wouldnt blame all of this on big companies. subliminal advertising definitely does go on, but i think the majority of these stunts are done by the artists themselves, their way of saying "two&#39;s up" to the companies, and as bujub22 said, to add their own signature to the work

i reckon major companies like disney etc wouldnt want to get themselves in to a position where the company could be held responsible for showing indecent pics to kids

but as i said it definitely goes on in advertising. if you&#39;re from the uk, some of the &#39;barrs irn bru&#39; tv ads have some very strange mellow sounds through them if you listen carefully
