winamp has so many plugins and skins i have no idea how anyone can say it looks ugly.

still wtf is this about version 5, I though it was a beta by an unofficial devolopement team

No this is not a unofficial Release.Check the Forums at WinAMP.The Betas have been out for a few Months now.

And the old WinAMP Skin is gone.A whole new Modern Skin is used with WinAMP 5.

Ok, maybe not that far, but I seriously hate both those players.
Winamp is the only choice for audio, and Winamp 5 is the best version yet, even better than 2, and a million times better than 3.

So, the information about the offical release was posted in the nullsoft forums. Well, I guess I'll have to be waiting at the site for the release.

Yeah, but I've already got RC8, and it works perfectly, so no big deal.

But if they were going to release it today, probably won't be too far off before we see it's offical release.

Santa came early this Year.He gave us a new Ripper in dbpoweramp and he is working on getting us a new WinAMP.2 Cheers for Santa!

winamp rules, look at all the plug-ins for it, and the skins to make it whatever you want

jet audio and sonique? PFFFT

both programs were resource hoggers in my computer...dont know about urs..... however winamp rules when it comes to resources...not to mention its the best...
