if you have a large amount of data from the start of the file, you may be able to copy the appropriate .dat file from your shared folder (after identifying the correct one using kdat), rename it to an .exe and attempt to run it
the installer should show the name of the game/software app

Why do you want to check the half downloaded files. If its a verified there is no need to check for it. Does that tip really work 3rd gen noob. Thanks for the great info.

occasionally you can install a game from an image when you don't have the completed image.
the most extreme case was actually a snooker game, which installed with no error when only 80 percent completed
