Downloading

Recently i noticed when i start to dowload a movie i will begin to download from a user and his spead starts off very high lets say 200kbs and then instanly drop to 2kbs.

I'm not complaining about low connection speeds (although they are soo low despite my cable modem hehe) but i am wondering why the initial high spped spike and then the sudden drop?

Could the users be downloading or is kazaa just teasing me?

When you connect to a source, K-Lite don't give the transfer rate imidietly, but after few seconds. The "few" seconds added together give this 200 and after that the real transfer kicks in
