Abuse the n00b-world
I'm still pretty much a "noob" I think (I don't know at what point the honeymoon is over) and one thing I've become aware of in the K-Lite Forums as compared to other forums I visit is an apparent heirarchy and condescension toward newcomers (aka: noobs, noobies, newbies...whatever). I see it almost with each visit. A "noob" looks to the experienced for a guiding hand until all his/her elementary questions are answered and they are comfortable then in using KL and all it's functions.
I would like to believe we are all here for one purpose, to share information and suggestions on how to better use and enjoy the K-Lite experience and not to be looked down upon because we may not have enough "Stars" or know the secret handshake.
Does there need to be a "pecking order"?
Yes, I realize this is the Lounge and informal conversation is encouraged but this "noob" thing bothers me just a little.
Thanks,
mrlessk
