i've heard of these thermal electric coolers. don't c wat the point of the black pci card thingy is. for me, it's either peltiers, stock, slk-900, or ws. maybe some other good hsf, but this is just weird. wtf? i've cn it b4, but still not sure wat's so good bout it
Yeah I finally found something about it on the website...what it is is that the CPU and Heatsink are separated by an "electric pad" and it sends heat from the CPU to the Heatsink and its really quite or something..i have no clue what the point of the pci card is.

This is a peltier device.
It has the capability to cool your cpu below ambient temps; this bit is true.
But the explanation is a total lie, since it also claims to reduce noise.
This is an impossibility, there is extra heat (the peltier device actually produces heat) so you need more fans to remove it. The result is more noise.
.Political correctness is based on the principle that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
oh. peltier. rite. ok. is it true that when the peltier thingy condenses, the water gets on the cpu and fucks it up?Originally posted by lynx@9 December 2003 - 20:21
