    How do you know what you have? HighID or LowID. I think I have a LowID but my upload limit is 12kb/sec. I read in help HighID means you have 10 or more kb/sec but that can't be correct if in fact I have a LowID.

    Edit: My client is eMule 0.30e.

    highid users have a green world icon on the bottom right. This might vary depending on client you use (i use emuleplus). Lowids are yellow worlds.
    The upload doesnt really indicate the id at all.

    High ID is given (mainly) if your port 4662 is reachable. If it is blocked or cannot be reached, you get a Low ID. This can be caused by firewalls, routers or proxy servers.

    things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia

    the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
    and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
    the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
    and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter

    not just 4662, it depends on wht port you are actually using.
