how about playing video files?
I like how it catalog's everything & WINAMP TV is pretty cool if you have broadband, not to mention the plug ins available for it like capture card
winamp is perefectly fine, but my brother installed musicmatch, so i just removed winamp
I find that Winamp 5 plays music really well, but for video, I say it's hands down, Media Player Classic. I would say BS Player comes in second.

Best music player is foobar 2000 uses little resourses, i can listen to music and still play games online @ same time unlike wmp8 & 9 and winamp
has lots of pluggins availble can play shn, mp4, ogg, cdda, wav etc
and its free.
