weird it didnt show mine....and one of my hdd's isnt old...
You might be grateful that your drives don't support temp monitoring one day.
The reason for temp monitoring is not for the benefit of end users. It's there because there have been a lot of warranty claims which have been caused by overheated drives, but without temp monitoring the manufacturers couldn't prove it. Now they can, and a lot of warranty claims are being rejected.
