I also wanted to know if I would see performance differences between the 3 different RAMs posted above. They're all PC3200 and they're all corsair, but I want to know if spending more would yield a performance increase that would matter.
My PC 2700 Mushkin RAM runs just fine at 100% of a 200GHz FSB.
    Will you see a difference?
    Only in benchmark tests.
Your specs are already so far above normal that only benchies will be able to differentiate from one upgrade to another.

@Lamsey...of course, that is exactly what I meant to say

Corsair and Mushkin are good brands too.

If you get Mushkin make sure to get Level 2.
If you get Corsair be sure to get XMS Low latency.

Both brands are good, however Muskin seems to have a little tighter timings, thats what I went for in my new system.

I'll post up new specs in a minute after some tweaking.
Will that cooling be ok? (Look in first post)

Crap I just re-measured and the full tower case might not fit.

RAM that is designed for low-latency timings is only good for one thing: stability. The low latencies make very little difference to performance, but you'll never see an error with this kind of RAM because it's built to take a lot of stress.

However, that extra care in manufacturing does come at a cost.

    Posted new specs up top.

Should I pay a few quid for more fans etc?

Oh yeah I went for the midi tower just to be safe.

Everything looks GREAT to me. However, I dont know much about that CPU cooler. Yes you will need some case fans.

    CoolerMaster Fans

I bought 5 of these (because it was the same price as 4) lol. They are veryyyyy nice looking and quiet. They move the air fairly good also, but im sure there not the BEST. Nice fans overall though. I have some of them angled down right at my CPU and stuff...Im gona try some diff stuff to see what works best.

Ahh, the case comes with 4 fans so I should be ok there.

Think I should go for a Zalman flower cooler?

Cooling is overrated. I have a basic copper CPU cooler (can't remember the brand name, but it was about £15 or so from World of Computers) and just 1 chassis fan.

My motherboard (MSI K7N2 Delta) is running at 28 degrees and my CPU (AthlonXP 2600+) is running at 33 degrees.

All this talk of having 4 chassis fans in one system just makes me think "damn, that must be loud".

    NO!

Check these out. Both are available in AMD versions.

    Lamsey, I disagree.
Good, high flow fans, run at 5-7v, are not at all noisy.
I should know...my case now has 11 fans total.

    Fair enough.

It just seems like belt, buckles, braces, elasticated waist, string and sticky-tape to me

(for those who are confused there's a common saying over here: "belts and braces" - refers to several things used when just one would do)
