dWk - we need more info on the power connectors.
Don't expect an answer soon, too - I'm just off to work.

thats what the connector looks like
the hsf connector is different (it got 3 cables.....black red yellow)
dunno what u mean by sysfan
btw....by BELOW UNDER i mean BELOW/UNDER
lol
As I remember, system fans have three wires, so you might not be able to easily hook that up. Clocker may be able to confirm it (I can't be buggered opening up my case to look).
If I'm right, you'd have to take apart the power connector and hook up the Ground/12V wires to the appropriate pins on the motherboard's SYSFAN power output pins.
oh i see..... system fans.... u are talking about PSU fans?
yes this is a very old psu/pc (the one i took it out of)
btw.... "newer" fans have 3 cables? if so... where do i plug those then?
Fans are £1.50 or so, just buy a new one.
Anyway, about the cooling. I don't want some monster thing, since I'm not gonna overclock. I just need something that'll keep the computer alive. Room temperature in my house is usually very high and I'll keep my PC on 80% of the time, so I can't let my new monster die
