OK, I tried to update to the latest version, but it wouldn't allow me to choose where to download to. It downloaded into a hard drive I did not want it to go and it messed things up... so I deleted it and redownloaded the 2.4.3 version, and viola' the "my shared folder" link works!! Thanks for all of your help!
