When I copy the pictures from my camera to my computer each one of the pictures is 2mb + . The only way I know of to reduce the size of the picture down to a couple 100 kb is to go to paint and resave it to jpeg (Which is the format its already in). Is there any easier way to reduce the size of my pictures to a couple 100 kb?

resize them man....they are HUGE.... thats not bad for taking pictures but its bad for posting them on the net..... i think you need a resolution of like 2048 to look at them ok...

just resize them till the size drops to less than 200kb

But is there an easier way to reduce the size in kb then going into paint and resaving them again?

why not resize them man? make them at least HALF the size they are now....

and no there isnt a way unless you lose A LOT of quality

  7. Software & Hardware   -   #27
Well that cant be true because I take a 2.01mb picture and open it with paint then I save it as jpeg (Not editing at all) and it is now 432kb. No quality loss or anything.

There are quite a few programs out there for re-sizing/compressing multiple images, have a look on google. Or get a hold of Photoshop Elements.
