Longhorn has limited the users control over the OS so people cant mess with it.. but thats what I've heard around this forum and some other places.. i think it is true...?

very true the digital privacy act says so, but I also heard that they found a way to do it... I currently don't think they can.. but if they do I will be go all the way to linux... and i won't look back...

Sony tried something similar to prevent hackers on EverQuest. They would randomly scan people's processes to see if anything looked like a hacking tool. People took Sony to court and won because it violated the constitutional right to privacy.
