Well I guess it&#39;s one of those cases where it&#39;s funnier if you know who all the guys were, especially cos Pop Idol was pretty big news here when it all started (at least in the UK)...

There was nothing original about using a famous person&#39;s SN ( ) it&#39;s been done a million times before on a million other boards...but, hey, it was quite good fun for some...

edit: I have to admit I didn&#39;t understand the first part of your edit...are you saying people pretended to be other people but not as UK "celebs"...? As far as I know everyone "played characters related to Pop Idol...
