    Wolf, bro, why don't you just uninstall your current drivers, run driver cleaner, and then install the Omega set or something? It is obviously a software not a hardware problem.

    but the original problem was the monitor being dark, so its a hardware problem really

    the only solutions i can think of are:

    - ignore the problem, get used to right-clicking the desktop -> advanced etc. (unless you have the Omega drivers)
    - buy a new monitor - i'm thinking about this one, my monitor is not only dark but its also blurry (i hate Tiny)

    Yea, this old ass hp p700 came out when 98 was very first released i'm sure.
    I rather get an 17"+ LCD for my next computer moniter, but those suckers arnt as good for gameing i heard.. correct?
    What about burning? I leave my moniter on for a long time sometimes.
