thanks. I ran the NOD32 virsu thing and it found a virus in:
C:\Windows\sp.reg - Reg/StartPage trojan
It won't allow me to remove it.
downloaded and ran a trojan remover which did not even detect it

I honestly would'nt think its caused by a virus mate..But you could boot in safe mode to delete.& search your registry.If its also a know virus search google for info about it.

I got it to work . What I did was copy the brushes (which is what i had the problem with) from the folder and pasted them in another folder. I deleted the original brush folder then pasted the other one back in and it didn't come up .
