Commodore 64 £24.99 (second hand)

Palitoy Funtime Squeaky Keyboard and Mouse Set £8.99

Binatone Monochrome Portable TV (used as monitor) £free (when uncle Dithpimple snuffed it)

Finally a life like plastic cockroach (keep on top of monitor) Came free in a packet of out of date Kellogs rice crispies I bought at the local car boot sale. Hactually looks just a bit too real to me!!!

Holy crap. How far back should I go?

I remember spending $900.00 on a "floor model" 486, and that was the discount price. 4MB of RAM, 2X CDROM, 210MB hard drive 60MHz CPU. One floppy drive. One built-in speaker! Desktop model. It featured VGA! I think the video card was a whopping 2MB.

Total, I have spent probably to date is appox. $3,600.00

I learned how to buy parts from discount distributors and ebay, and build my own PC.

My 486 grew into a P4-266gHz with all of the bells and whistles.
