    The a7v8x mobo is based on the KT400 chipset. That chipset was designed before the specs for DDR400 memory were finalised, and is not fully compatible. If you want to run it with DDR400 memory, but synched to a 333MHz FSB chip then you should be ok, but I think you would be better with the Nforce 2 chipset.

    Don&#39;t be fooled by that raid crap either, unless you want it for data redundancy. If you want raid for performance, you need separate channels otherwise it is a waste of time.
