uhh... i played halo online with a downloaded verson but that was when it first came out i deleted it along time ago

Since then the latest patches have changed the CD-Key software, cant be patched now

what u can do is simply find the servers playing with the ver u have. ie: if u have ver 1.0 play on servers that are running 1.0.
