I do not know a great deal about how to use some of the more premium graphics programs, but I have been using PSP8 for alittle while now. And I must say that the program itself seems a helluva lot easier for beginners to pick up on than the mucho premium Adobe applications. So far as quality between the two, myself being a "noob" to it all, I cannot tell the difference.

Some of the better aspects to PSP8 (comparing it to PhotoShop 7) that I fast discovered was that the Jasc software has a sort of "built-in" tutorial section sort of the way in which the Adobe Creative Suite does now. And I do believe that Jasc even has a few .pdf tutorial files/ebooks on their site for free downloading. And even inspeaking of the software in general, PSP8, as you find it through Sharman or EDonkey networks, does not contain any of that "activation key" or similiar Microsoft/Adobe/Symantec horseshit. So, IMO, it is easier to install and much lighter on your system. The program merely asks that you register a valid email address for registration.

Here is a link that I have found that contained a few good PSP tutorials from a first time webmaster. While the site itself mostly centers around Photoshop, there is a handy assortment of other links to sites of similiar nature.

Hope you find something of use to you.
