I'm pretty sure that 64-bit Windows will need 1GB memory minimum, the Opteron version certainly does.
And I think you will need two sticks if you want Dual Channel capability.

yeah i know the ram is low but im trying to keep the prices dwon.
Is that gfx card a good on. i might strech to £160 and get a 9800 pro.

If you're really trying to keep prices down then don't go 64bit.
