    There is medication for that.

Muscle and back pain relief caplets.

Contains: Methocarbamol 400mg and Acetaminophen 325mg

    Available at any drugstore.

    Really works!

My chiropractor screwed his shoulder up from a skiing accident. And my back gets worse. Hopefully he's better soon.

But spinal adjustment really works quite well for back pain. Just be sure to find a reputable guy.

    MARIJUANA!!!

(how can millions of little ole ladies with arthritis be wrong?)
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.

    Some chiropractors are absolute quacks.

They may adjust your back and provide temporary relief by the the creation of "vacuum facets", but they will never cure you.

That is not to say that doctors will. There are some cases in which they can, but often time you exchange one source of pain for another.

Too many times, back pain is not permanently solvable.
Aren't we in the trust tree, thingey?

    Not true.

Spinal adjustment is only part of relieving back pain. The other part has to do with strengthening the muscles in the back. This is especially important for people who sit on computers all day, who tend to have weaker back muscles, causing the trademark "slump." A good chiropractor will tell you that strength training is also required, and give you excerises to target those specific muscles.

Unfortunately many people are simply too lazy to do anything on their part.

Mind over matter. You'll be surprised how much pain you cant take if you concentrate on something else. I know this sounds weird but go of into your own little world and "distance" yourself from your nerves. You are aware of the pain but it doesnt dominate your thoughts and doesnt feel as "sharp". I have won many "Mercy Mercy" competitions with this method .
