Thread: Spywareblaster Charging For All Features...

  1. #11
    Wanna see my badge!!!

    Just don't like fowl language.
you mean you dont like to hear chickens talk, or you mean you dont like foul langauge
This is gettiong ridiculous. So much free stuff is becoming pay stuff. SpywareBlaster now requires a $10 a year payment if you want autoupdate. I cna update myself, but that would be cnveinient. Anyone know if a key(gen) exists for it? I'd use keygen out of spite for them trying to make money off this thing. Be happy with the donations...
Whoops, just found out the manual updates were free. I thought that you had to subscribe to get any updates. Whoops... My bad...
read your post again, esp I CAN UPDATE MYSELF; but it would be inconvenient:
you knew very well, and your still a miserable, and lying c*#*@, ..... censored for UcanRock

Actually I meant downloading cracked/seperate updates or something like that. I heard you can do stuff like that for Norton, so I figured it'd be the same thing here. I had only read part of an article saying that they were charging for it (didn't read very deep, just saw charging and SpywareBlaster), did not actually DL it and see for myself. I got it now, and see it has the same update feature it had before. Please excuse how quickly and hastily I jumped to the conclusions of my first post, this is very out of character for myself. I just got a little pissed when I saw the article.

Speaking of updates, there hasn't been one for SpywareGuard in ages...

I don't know tensegg. Does he sound like he's apologizing or making excuses? What do you think?

straight out apology would have sufficed nicely, we all F**k up and say stupid shit, no need for all the wriggling about tho, he was bold enough to post it, should be bold enough to put his hands up, - I reckon Dwells you should do the decent thing and send spywareblaster the 10 bucks for the crappy abuse you gave em, and everyone will forgive and forget the damn least is a straight apology without excuses

I concur. Special apologies are due to Wilders Security & Javacools software. Two entities protecting us all.

Okay, I apologize, But those weren't excuses. I misinterpreted the article. From now on I will read things more thouroughly. I just donated $5 to JavaCool through PayPal at their donate page. Anyone know why there hasn't been any updates for SpywareGuard in about a month or so?

Edit: Actually, it says my definitions (1/22/04) are up to date. 3 months seems like a bit old..
