Thats okay if people want to see that persons website. Anyway, he can really do what he wants anyway seeing as it's ultimately his board to do with what he wants, and if he can make a couple of bucks out of it then why not.

To be fair he said to cover server costs. Whilst I don't know exact costs given the amount of users and bandwidth that they use I would guess it would be a large sum of money per month pay for the servers.
A database of links (ed2K etc) would be great but I doubt it will happen. Sharerector folder under pressure and this site, if it did something different, would come under similar pressure and be forced to stop.
