not sure what those small slots are called or for, but I know my buddies old old old computer, pentium 733 or somethin had one...
so they can't be anything really special lol

i think that ur friends mobo had CNR raiser slot. which is something to do with modems or some shit like that, i dont know really what it is.so they can't be anything really special lol
but those small ones are pci express.
