So I have been using this P2P for a while.

I have high-speed broadband and i was getting crazy speeds.

All of a sudden I get a router and I can't get speeds beyond 12kbp/s

My upload is moving fine and alot faster then my upload.

is there a way this can be fixed? is there a client that will help me?

or is there an option i can toggle to give the client more bandwidth or something?

    I'm using xp pro.

    thanks.

Just foreward ports 6881-6889 , or if you have torrentstorm (uses shadows client) you can change the ports bitTorrent will bind to.
I only licked you for the salt

If you use TorrentBits you cant use ports 6881-6889. They use all other ports.

read your manual on how to forward ports or call the 800 # and they will wake you through it

THAT WILL SHOW you how to open your ports for a D-link Router.
