Ive got software to edit/split/join most video but sadly nothing to do quicktime files, and sdly its a quicktime file i need to edit at the mo. Can i have some pointers please?

Try Adobe Premiere PRO I thought it was possible but donnu for sure, I use premiere for some time now but I never tried to open a quicktime movie,
I will try.. will post later if it worked

Yes you can edit it with Premiere PRO

if you have quicktime pro, u can join multiple quicktime clips, then just go to file and export in quicktime, much easier then using premiere
