    All NEW drives need the ATA66 cable which have Cable Select capability. and most come set for Cable Select, so you just plug them in and off you go. Obviously this won't be true for older drives.

    So if I set all my drives to cable select ill never have to worry about choosing slave\master anymore? (will help when I take my burner over to my friends place, here its master, there its slave)
