If Antec are really so good how come they don't make a PSU with a built-in UPS?

because a lot of people don't know what UPS is, think it's just gay crap antec added in, and it will make the price like double what it is now, so people won't buy antec...

    I have actually seen one.

Ok, it was in a specialist pc (made for POS applications) which had very low power consumption and was designed to run without a monitor, just one of those LED strip displays. But the UPS could keep the pc running for about 40 mins.

The PSU fitted into the base of the pc. The footprint area of the pc was about three times the base area of a standard PSU. But the PSU was only half standard height (including batteries), making it about 1.5 times as big in volume.

I thoguht of an idea for the future when i am, uhh, a billionaire lol. maybe just well-off lol.

ill mod a case to have the power supply built in, probably at the bottom, and built in UPS as well.

won't do it now becuase i would need:

an extra power supply, preferably a good one from enermax, antec, or thermaltake or something.
a UPS, again preferably a high quality one.
and a case, yes, u guessed it, a good one...

plus all the extra screwes\wires which aren't expensive but still do need to be acquired. and then there is the backup funds, incase i screw up and one of the parts gets screwed up...
