I've been taught that relationships should be for selfgrowth. Sure it didn't work out, but how much of that relatioship defined who you are now. My fiance broke up with me a week before Christmas. Sucks, Sucks bad. But, I loved the entire time we were going out. The relationship made me grow in so many ways. Every responsible thing I've accomplished in the last 4 years have been due to that relationship. It showed me what it's going to be like with that next someone. So, it is true. If I hadn't loved and lost....I wouldn't be me, I wouldn't have my favorite memories, and I would still be completely lost on where I want to be.
