The new stars look cool, but the bar where they are placed on doesn't look good imo.
It doesn't really go with the skin.
they are the same yellow stars as before

You know what stars i'm talking about.
If not...read the thread again.
hmm...asspie
ok thought you ment we have new pips added now
not about the talk about them
I voted who cares.
But whatever system we use it should apply to Mods and Admins too.
.Political correctness is based on the principle that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Guess what my vote was for remove them ha ha seems so far only my vote stars so what 5 stars = 5000 posts now thats a lot of spam........
You've taken that too far.[/b][/quote]Originally posted by J'Pol+19 June 2004 - 23:40--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (J'Pol @ 19 June 2004 - 23:40)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>Originally posted by clocker@20 June 2004 - 00:31

It seems to be an issue. At least for some of the forum addicts.
Oh gee.
Why not continue in the current vein and make the assignment of stars completely random?
In fact, let's arbitrarily change them every day, that way each time one signs in it will be a surprise.
A tiny frisson of excitement in an ordinarily dull existence.
Carrying the thought to it's logical conclusion, our user identity and profile could be changed with each log-in also.
One time you might be J'Pol, the next you might be Balamm.
Then you would be forced to inhabit the personality of the persona you had been assigned that day.
Bonus points could be awarded for those most successful at the charade.
Of course, the bonus points would be randomly assigned to some other user.
Or perhaps withheld altogether.
It can only get better.
What are you saying clocker? It is not already so?
Personally I could not care a less but for all those members who posted their "coming of age" in the lounge all these "demotions" might be a bit of a blow.
It would probably be better not to put members into a boxes, ie. senior members, just because they have nothing better to do than spam the board with one word posts.ect. Perhaps it would be better to give that 'senior member' title to members that have been at least a year member of this board and have given quality posts or given something else important to FST (KLB).
Error, IMO opinion you have created the scene for a new spam<s>gold</s>-rush.
nigel
Might that be the point, to encourage the board to become more active, even if it is mostly nonsensical.
I think you may have stumbled ( or maybe not) on the answer old bean.
Nigel has a god point
but.... what it will do is even f*ck the lounge up even more now
I will say no more
The lounge isn't f*cked up at the moment though...in fact since the recent deletion the lounge has been ticking over quite nicely. What is this Lounge of which you speak, why was I not .... oh never mind.
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colours on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds and violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colours changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artists' loving hand
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow
Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They're not listening still
Perhaps they never will...
