british companys try to be american
british people try to be american
non-british companies are american
i'm not against globilisation as such, just the fact that the people with money are trying to turn england into mini america. you know its a surprise, even a novelty to see england on mtv

So they can't track you down??
either 1 scrabbles your phone number
and if u get cranked called just push *67 after the 3 call its sends it to the police and they track u down an warn u and if u persist after that feel sorry for ya son [/b][/quote]
*67 displays a "private or anonymous" number. *69 returns the call if someone has called you and hung up or whatever and you want to return the favor.
I had a cousin once. Was very into "phones" so to say. So much that all he could do was call people on the telephone and either prank call or do something else silly. I suppose there was also some social engineering involved when he started calling businesses and tricking people into giving out private info etc. The police finally caught up with him despite the fact he used prepaid phones for all his offenses. I'm not sure what the extent of everything was but all I know is I turned around and he was gone!
Sent to prison for 4 years for some phone calls. Since I never knew all the details I just as well assumed that phone companies and the authorities have an extremely low tolerance for that kind of thing. So be careful...........because it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
Well he got personal info thats bad but just like doing something silly
Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!
A great target base for that type of stuff is telemarketers. Not sure if you get them where you live but in the U.S. they are a pain. I generally get the number their calling from and my roomate can do this really neat thing with the phone where it doesn't really hang up and the other party is sort of just stuck there on the other line unable to hang up. We just laugh because all you can hear is the telemarketer saying "Hello, hello, are you there"
At least then you have an excuse, because they called you.
