I just got Overnet 0.52 and it instructed me that I'm behind a firewall and my performance might be bad etc... Well, I know I'm not running any software firewalls (another PC on my network is running Nortons personal firewall though, could that be problem)
So It has to be my router right? I'm on 512/256 ADSL. My router is a locally made Telkom (the ADSL ISP Monopoly here) Adsl Router Pots, now I'm guessing I have to portforward to get Overnet, K-Lite, Bittorrent and other P2Ps downloading fast right?
So how do I do it? Do I go into the P2P settings or my router settings? Do I have to change the settings bakc when I'm not using them? can port forwarding mess up my internet settings? www.portforward.com doesn't have a tutorial for this router so I'm hoping one of you can help me
