    You could upload it to a newsgroup, or share it on suprnova or if you have a spare computer use it as a file server, just some ideas.

    I think you may have missed the point. If you are looking for free hosting, then you could choose any number of places, depending on filesize, etc. The purpose behind putting it on the web was what we are trying to determine.

    If you are making 'small independent films', and you are looking for a place where other students, or maybe a family member/friends can access it... then any place will do. Open up Google and search for free hosting. Not that difficult.

    If you think your short film will be noticed by someone 'in the industry', then you would have to present your work thru an agent, thus it would no longer be 'unsolicited work.' This of course, costs money, at least a little, to get your foot in the door.

    No one was talking about marketing your work, just trying to provide a clear answer, based on who your audience will be. :music1:
