User Area Trouble

Recently If I click on my computer under the heading "files sored on this computer" my user area no longer appears (no matter what user accoun I'm on).
I can still access my files any other way, it's just this way no longer shows up, does anybody have any ideas...

i'm using windows XP proffesional...
i do not want to have to delete my User Area and start over again
