Good luck getting your pc's fixed without hardwareworld people
You seem to think that because we don't post in Hardware world we don't know anything about computers.

Besides who are you anyhow? There's only a few knowledgable people in Hardware world and you ain't one of them.

Careful, they may know the optimum speed setting for your hard dis..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Usually 7200 Rpm but newer hard drives (specifically the Western Digital Raptors) run at 10,000 Rpm.

I'm neutral, but if it came down to it....teh lounge.
Harddrives in the last few years have been 7200 and above. There are 15,000 rpm ones but they arent for IDE only motherbaords. [/b][/quote]
Pfft that's what SCSI controllers are for.

And if we are talking maximum speed then scsi is the way to go, today.

Some of us do know how to build/fix pc's, we just don't feel the need to talk about them all the time
