    I've installed Winamp 2 and 3, but as i want my player as simple as possible i hardly use Winamp3...

    i've dl'ld the Audioactive player to try it

    winamp 3 with the corneramp skin is my favorite.
    still inferior to fusion media player

    winamp 3 looks alot better, especially with mmd3 skin.
    i got winamp 2 on my other comp, slow as hell wi winamp 3. k6-2 500. 256mb, tee-he.
    and i got alot of probs playin vids wi it aswell, and liked it scrolling the song in the title bar,
    so winamp 2 might be comin back.

    Winamp 2, Winamp 3 is to damn slow the only thing i like from it is you can size the amp better.. and the CD Ripper codec that you download serprate with is koo... I would go for winamp 2

    Winamp 2 without a doubt, tried 3..it was crapola with a capital C.

    Although if you like eye candy and a slow system, then by all means run 3.

    My system was an XP2000, 896 meg DDR 2100...and winamp 3 made it like a celeron 300mhz 64 meg edo ram.... in short it sucks!

    Stick with 2.
