does anyone know the eventual result of the Elizabeth Winkfield case ? the pensioner that refused to pay all of her council tax bill after it rose by over 18%.
The last news i saw on the issue she had paid the same as the previous year plus the inflation rate and had been ordered by a court to pay the balance. She stated she would rather go to prison.
What if anything has occured since?
i have been searching the news but can't get anything past what i already know
it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

i have no idea but haven't read that before..... it would kind of take the wind out of her protest though
