If you adblock using the Hosts system it should spead things up
adblock is more than just that. It,s about having the ability to just right click nearly anything and block it on demand rather then editing your host file everytime.

Cause it's like soooo tricky to edit your hosts file

I still use the Supertrick XG that ex-member Xero Grid developed, he still supports it too. It's better than having another application installed, I have enough clutter on here.

I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

--Good for them if they survive.

Sorry to go off topic, but is there a way to uninstall firefox?
I tried it today and I get frequent windows explorer crashes, and it's giving me shit with MIRC not copying things to clipbord.

I have found that this short list is a very good starting place to block just about all ads using Adblock (sorry, I don't remember where I got it from). Just copy and save the following as a text file and use the Import Filters function under Adblock Options:

/\D\d{2,3}x\d{2,3}\D/
googlesyndication
us.yimg.com/a/
/\/buy_assets\//
/[\W\d_](top|bottom|left|right|)?banner(s|id=|\d|_)[\W\d]/
/[\W\d](double|fast)click[\W\d]/
/[\W\d]click(stream|thrutraffic|thru|xchange)[\W\d]/
/[\W\d]value(stream|xchange|click)[\W\d]/
/[\W\d]dime(xchange|click)[\W\d]/
/[\W\d](onlineads?|ad(banner|click|-?flow|frame|ima?g(es?)?|_id|js|log|serv(er|e)?|stream|_string|s|trix|type|vertisements?|v|vert|xchange)?)[\W\d]/
Hey that does work alot faster and blocks all the same ads. I didnt see any ads on any of my toolbar links and they all loaded very fast.

What I should have said was, keep a clean short adblock list and dont get too messy
