There is always a chance of getting virus on the HD.Best to stay cautious and keep your virus protection updated then the chance of beig infected is small

Just scan for viruses then quarintine it the ctrl alt delete and shut down any procceses the virus is running then go to your windows folder then delete any files that look like it came from the virus.
