Do you think it's acceptable to let the top of your thong show? I ask because I know you can get low-cut thong, so why do some women insist on showing it off? Also, when it does show and we get caught looking at it, how come you act offended.

I think that staring at a visible thong is no less acceptable than staring at a push up bra. Of course the woman wants you to notice her pert bosom or her Moschino thong but she will still think you're a pervert for looking anyway. So you have to be surreptitious.
