The standard option is -> standard text editior. so I dont understand what you mean what you mean.

The other option has a black screen in the text editor and I cant fix that. doesnt matter what skin you use.

What I mean is, I didnt change any of the settings. If the default option is standard editor, how did mine switch to enhanced editor when the skin changed?

No it isn't. You've probably got the old one stuck in your cache.
