    you might try Partition Magic, see if it's able to recognize the unpartitioned space and increase the 127gb partition to 200gb. if it's able to, then you'd use the program to prepare the 127-to-200 job, reboot the computer and let Partition Magic do its thing (it might take a little while).

    well the update for 48bit LBA is in SP1, so if you havent installed that, that should solve your problem.......

    Yes my 160gb hdd, shows as 145..

    Most HD makers and windows calculate HD space by dividing by 1000 instead of 1024. Also, part of that size is allocated to the index, which is not free space. My 120GB HD shows up as 114GB.
