Why is it every thing is getting smaller? Christ I would lose that , be constantly looking for it. Like my reading glasses ! Saw a small harddrive today the size of a domino piece , now that makes sence!

    Can't find a pic but like this . http://www.dcviews.com/press/Toshiba-microdrive.htm

    Specs

    How big is the display?
FlipStart features a near HDTV-quality display (which is far better than those used in portable DVD players). The display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 (212 dpi) and measures 5.6” diagonally.

How much data does it hold?
FlipStart comes with a 30GB hard drive, which provides you with plenty of storage for software applications, email, music, photos, and music.

    What's the processing speed?
FlipStart features a 1 GHz processor (just like a standard full-size laptop computer).

How much memory comes with it?
    FlipStart comes with 256MB DRAM.

What is the expected battery life?
FlipStart features innovative software and hardware technology specifically designed to preserve battery life, which means you can be productive all day long. With FlipStart, you get:
    Two full days standby power
One full day operation in low-power mode
    Can the memory be upgraded?
We currently have no plans to offer a memory upgrade.

Does FlipStart have a PC Card Slot?
No, the FlipStart does not feature a PC card slot.

    Does FlipStart have a webcam?
FlipStart does not ship with a Web cam, but you can attach one as you would any PC or laptop computer.

Can I buy FlipStart w/o the camera function?
We are currently planning to offer an integrated 1.3MP digital camera in our standard FlipStart model. We also expect to offer a customizable model in the future that would enable you to include/exclude specific features, such as the camera.
So you can attach a dvd burner or external hd. It has USB 2.0.
