We were at a Vandals gig in Newport at Xmas just last year when my friend - yes it was a friend and not meJust after it finished he started chatting to this girl.
He started giving her the usual BS but it went from bad to worse:
Matey: So ... How many times have you seen them play?
Girl: First time.
Matey: I've been loads of times, they were fucking awesome tonight tho' eh?
Girl: To be honest, I don't like punk. I prefer Dance music.
Matey: Oh ... So why are you here.
Girl: My Dad and brother like them <points to Dad and Brother>
Matey: Umm, how old are you?
Girl: 14.
Matey: kthnxbye.
A few of us heard that conversation take place because we were all in a queue for T-Shirts, he hasn't lived it down. Weirdly her Dad didn't look too bothered
