Well I'm going home now so I thought I'd better set the record straight.

This article isn’t real it was something I wrote in about 5 minutes. If you believed it great, but I’m sorry to say that you’ve been caught by an April Fools Day Joke.

    Have a good evening,

Microsoft has announced record losses for the first quarter 2003. This has been attributed to the amount of lost revenue causes by file-sharing software programs, namely Kazaa and Emule. A spokesperson talking to a press conference at Microsoft’s head quarters, has announced that the long awaited release of its new operating system will have anti file-sharing coding. This coding will affectively prevent peer2peer applications from running without first registering and paying Microsoft for an application license. This license, a break through in software security will link itself directly to the registered users IP address. A plug-in will automatically notify Microsoft of any changes to the IP address and update the license, allowing the user to continue using the software. With each connection an information file containing a list of new files on the users hard drive will be forwarded to Microsoft, who in turn will notify the RIAA of any copyrighted infringement.

Looks like our days are numbered!
ah just another challeng for the crackers.. they pulled that license thing on windows xp home/pro, but people found a way around it.. Remember.. Nothing is perfect

You had me going...except you didnt site the source. Well, that kind of tactic from Microshit wouldnt supprise me. I guess they would do such a thing if all Bill Gates Theater visits were compliments of the MPAA.

Well, I guess it is time to switch over to LINUX v8. I hear that it is as good, if not better than XP. Runs all of XP made software. The drivers are basically the same. And mainly, we all can afford it (we can actually buy it!!&#33, compared to XP, and one license covers as many computers that you own. Ain't that sweet?

This could be the big break that the competitors need (against Microsoft).
